• We optimise water consumption with tap aerators, dual-flush cisterns, timed taps and drip irrigation systems with moisture monitoring.
• The “Choose Green” programme reduces the frequency of bed linen and towel changes, lowering water and energy consumption.
• We reward our guests’ commitment to sustainability through our Eco Bonus, an initiative offering a €7 discount per room on the extras bill for each day guests voluntarily choose to forgo the housekeeping service, for up to two consecutive days.
• We treat wastewater and reuse it to irrigate Tecina Golf.

MORE RENEWABLE, MORE EFFICIENT

• 79% of the energy we consume comes from renewable sources, mainly from our photovoltaic panels.
• We use LED lighting, more efficient equipment, key-card power controls and occupancy sensors that automatically switch off lights, ventilation and other devices when spaces are unoccupied.
• Solar energy also provides 45% of the energy required to heat water for the swimming pools and guest rooms.

REDUCE, SEPARATE AND REUSE

• We separate waste to facilitate recycling and recovery, and use automatic dosing systems to reduce the use of cleaning and pool products.
• We have installed recycling points in various communal areas, as well as recycling bins in every guest room.
• Green waste from the gardens and golf course is turned into compost for Eco Finca Tecina.
• We are progressively replacing cleaning and maintenance products with biological alternatives.

• We monitor resource consumption and calculate our emissions to continue reducing our carbon footprint; the hotel is registered with the Carbon Footprint Registry of the Spanish Office for Climate Change.
• We promote environmental education to help conserve marine wildlife and the surrounding ecosystems.
• We provide an electric vehicle charging point.
