We are part of the Fred. Olsen Group, whose connection with the Canary Islands began in the early 20th century when Thomas Olsen arrived in La Gomera. Since then, we have contributed to the development of the islands through transport, agriculture and tourism, while maintaining a strong commitment to the local community.

Hotel Jardín Tecina was created as a commitment to sustainable tourism in La Gomera and opened its doors on 14 November 1987, perched on the cliffs of Playa de Santiago and surrounded by extensive gardens featuring plant species from around the world. In 1993, we expanded our facilities, establishing ourselves as one of the leading resorts in the Canary Islands and contributing to the island's tourism development alongside Tecina Golf.

In 2024, we undertook one of the most significant transformations in our history thanks to an investment of approximately €20 million by Fred. Olsen. This refurbishment enabled us to modernise our facilities, rooms, leisure areas and services while preserving the natural character and unique surroundings that define us.

Today, we remain one of the Canary Islands' most iconic hotels, staying true to our values and committed to creating unforgettable experiences for every guest who visits us.

Transfer to Tecina Golf
From 7:30 am to 7:30 pm you can request our transfer service between the hotel and Tecina Golf, including your return journey. The estimated waiting time after requesting the service is between 10 and 15 minutes.

We recommend storing money, travel documents and valuables in the safe. If you experience any problems with its operation, please contact Reception.

Water is a particularly valuable resource on the island, and we kindly ask you to use it responsibly. We also encourage you to use the air conditioning efficiently.

All rooms are equipped with an air-conditioning system fitted with HEPA filters, which undergoes rigorous inspections and regular maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency and enhanced health safety.

The hotel's electrical supply is 220 V. To activate the electricity in your room, please insert your key card into the card holder located beside the entrance door. When leaving your room, remember to remove it to help reduce energy consumption.

Every small gesture helps preserve the natural environment that makes La Gomera a truly unique destination.

Luggage
If you require assistance with your luggage, you can arrange collection by calling Reception (extension 9) between 8:00 am and 10:30 pm.

If you are departing on the first ferry of the morning, we will collect your luggage the previous evening between 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm.

Room Key Card
The key card you receive at check-in identifies you as a hotel guest and allows you to access our services, so we recommend carrying it with you at all times.

In addition to opening your room door, the card activates the room's electricity when inserted into the card holder beside the entrance door. It also provides access to the lifts serving Club Laurel.

Transfers
We offer a complimentary private transfer service exclusively for our in-house guests between the hotel and Tecina Golf.

There is also a bus stop and a taxi rank located next to the hotel. La Gomera Airport is just 15 minutes away.

If you require any transfer arrangements, Reception will be pleased to assist you. We kindly ask that requests are made at least 24 hours in advance.

Post and Stamps
You may post your letters and postcards using the mailbox located at Reception, where postage stamps are also available for purchase.

Mail is collected from Monday to Friday.
